W dniu 26 kwietnia burmistrz Barlinka Dariusz Zieliński podpisał z firmą „Maldrobud” z Myśliborza umowę na wykonanie prac związanych z przebudową ul. Zielnej, Podgórnej i części ul. Kopernika wraz z wymianą sieci wodociągowej i przebudową kanalizacji deszczowej w ul. Zielnej. Wartość prac po przetargu to ok. 5.814.000 zł.

 
Funkcję inspektora nadzoru będą pełnili pracownicy Przedsiębiorstwa Handlowo - Usługowego „DARO” z Gorzowa Wlkp.

Zakres zadania obejmuje przebudowę ulic Zielnej i Podgórnej poprzez budowę nowej konstrukcji jezdni i chodników oraz przebudowę skrzyżowań. Całkowita długość to ok. 900 m. Zaplanowano również w obrębie realizowanej inwestycji wymianę sieci wodociągowej, przebudowę kolektora wód deszczowych w ulicy Zielnej wraz z budową odpowiednich separatorów.  

Prace ruszą w I połowie maja a zakończą się pod koniec października br.
